Snooker Cue Tip Upgrade You Can Do
Snooker is one game that is being compared to the game billiards or pool. A lot of similarities can be observed like equipment used. The Cue Sticks being used in the game of snooker are very important tools since these sticks are being used to hit the ball to the pockets. As you continually use these cues, you will observe that the tips of the cues get worn too. The tips are very important since these are the only parts that touch the ball themselves. Thus, to ensure that you will hit the ball in a much more solid way, you have to do some upgrade in the tips of the cues. Doing it is never easy for your information. There are various factors that you have to consider so that you can upgrade the Cue Tips in the best way. Have the best full size snooker table too.
USE A CHALK
It is very important that you are able to hit the ball in a solid way to ensure that it will go to the areas where you want t to land. Sometimes, the tips may not able to come in contact correctly with the ball, thus, you have to make use of a chalk. Apply the chalk at the tip to ensure a solid shot. In applying the chalk, you need to hold it still and rotate the Cue Stick Tip to it. Always have the best snooker cue.
USE A SANDPAPER
A sandpaper can be used to make sure that the tip of the cues used in snooker will be improved a lot. Find a fine grit sandpaper and rub the tip of the cue to it. It will help in improving the spin control of the cue stick. Also, the rough surface that the sandpaper will cause on the tip of the cue will help in increasing the surface area that touches the ball as you hit them.
REPLACE THE TIP
Sometimes, you may need to replace the tip of the cue stick completely since the old one cannot be upgraded using sandpaper and chalk only. You have to resort on removing the rubber tip. First, you will need to scrape off the rubber tip of the cue stick. Make sure that the remaining rubber will be removed by using a sandpaper. This will also help in keeping the area as smooth as possible.
Get the new tip that will be used to replace the old one. Apply some adhesive on the area. Make sure that the adhesive can secure the new tip of the cue. You need to press the replacement tip to the area with the adhesive. Do it for about 3 to 5 minutes. This will ensure that the new tips will be secured well. You may use a sandpaper to keep the new tip in good shape.
You have to ensure that you are always using good quality equipment for the game called snooker. The cue sticks that you use must be upgraded. In keeping the tip in Good Condition, you have to remember the tips mentioned. These will help you a lot for sure.
